Discover how ARTIE Academy brings communities together through cultural celebrations, volunteering and events that inspire connection, confidence and belonging.

Bringing our community together
ARTIE Academy events create opportunities for students, mentors, families and community partners to connect, celebrate and give back. From cultural celebrations to community volunteering and special events, these experiences help strengthen relationships, build confidence and create lasting memories beyond the classroom.

Celebrating culture through NAIDOC Week
Each year, ARTIE Academy proudly celebrates NAIDOC Week, recognising the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Students are encouraged to connect with culture through performances, dance, art, storytelling and community events that celebrate identity and foster pride. These celebrations provide opportunities for students to learn, share experiences and strengthen their connection to culture while bringing schools and communities together.
Giving back to the community
ARTIE Academy believes in creating opportunities for students to make a positive impact within their communities.
Throughout the year, students and mentors take part in a range of community initiatives, including preparing meals at Ronald McDonald House and supporting organisations such as Emmanuel Mission. These experiences encourage teamwork, compassion and community spirit while helping students understand the value of giving back.
