WELCOME TO THE ARTIE ACADEMY

The ARTIE Academy Tutoring Program sees tertiary education students volunteering their time to attend ARTIE Academy schools with the aim of increasing the confidence and ability of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in literacy and numeracy.

The ARTIE Academy links with Australian Catholic University to provide you with an opportunity to complete placement hours in our schools. As an ARTIE Academy Tutor, your role will be to work in class with primarily Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, assisting them to keep on track with their class work and supporting them through the school term.
